Wondering about Easter Plans? Crosswicks invites you to Easter Brunch

CROSSWICKS MEETING SHARES NEWS WITH FRIENDS OF SOUTHERN JERSEY QUARTER
As we move through weeks of dramatic weather shifts—spring warmth, still reeling from a blizzard, possibly a looming nor’easter—members and attenders of Crosswicks Meeting have been warmed by spirit of fellowship and learning. We are pleased to share the following update with SJQ Quarters family, celebrating life of Crosswicks Meeting.
Deepening Our Roots: A Quakerism 101 Launch
Last Sunday was a particularly special day as Crosswicks welcomed Friends from across New Jersey and Pennsylvania for a community lunch and the inaugural session of our Quakerism 101 series. “George Schaefer led us on a compelling exploration of Quakerism’s rise in 17th-century England, illuminating how those early, spirit-led beginnings continue to shape our practices and processes today. The session was rich with insight, and the interactive Q&A that followed allowed for a deeper, shared inquiry among all who attended.”
They extend our deepest gratitude to Rebecca Wacker, Clerk of our Fellowship Committee, along with Lisa Moody, Heide Dengler, John Andrews, and Adrienne Andrews, whose efforts made this recent luncheon such a warm and welcoming success. We look forward to continuing this hospitality journey together at the next session on March 15th.
Ongoing Worship and Learning
This Sunday, March 2nd, we return to our regular rhythm. At 9:00 a.m., Crosswicks will resume Assembly discussions on Brené Brown’s Atlas of the Heart. Then, at 10:00 a.m., all are invited to join for Meeting for Worship. For those unable to attend in person, we offer virtual participation via the following link:

Young Friends Leading the Way
Crosswicks writes; “We are especially proud of our First Day school students, who have been diligently working on their annual nonprofit project. This year, the students have chosen to support two meaningful organizations: HomeFront in Lawrenceville, which works to break cycles of poverty and homelessness, and Operation Smile, an international organization providing cleft lip and palate surgeries to children around the world.
This Sunday at approximately 10:45 a.m., the students will visit the Meetinghouse to share their vision and invite contributions from the community. We hope you will join us in spirit as we support these young Friends in their efforts to make a difference.
A Gathering of Fellowship
Finally, Crosswicks warmly invites all Friends from the South Jersey region to mark their calendars for our Annual Easter Brunch Celebration, to be held on Sunday, March 29th, at 9:00 a.m. It promises to be a joyful morning of food and fellowship.
Crosswicks Meeting sends warm greetings to all throughout New Jersey, Philadelphia Yearly Meeting and Burlington Quarter. Whether you are weathering a storm or basking in the warming sun, Crosswicks seeks to carry you in the Light.
