Trenton Meeting “Spring Garden Party” Kids Program

Trenton Meeting had the second of its First Day School Spring Kids Programs, “Spring Garden Party”, on May 15th.  The youngsters from the meeting and the community helped dig up the bed and plant some flowers (mostly native species).  They also painted a pot and planted a small flower to take home.  There was food, fun and games and a nice chance to chat with the parents and absorb the energy of toddlers to teens.  Yes some teens came by.  Too cool to dig of course but not too cool to eat and drink and hang around a bit.  Very rewarding event.
