Hey, we have a new website!

We want to introduce Quakers – members of the Religious Society of Friends – to our neighbors by providing information about our beliefs, Friends’ based organizations, and some history including the role Quakers have played in building our communities. “South Jersey Quakers” also offers a calendar with upcoming activities – for adults, children, and inter-generational activities – sponsored by local Quaker meetings and other groups.

We hope you will find this information of interest and – if you are not already active in a Quaker meeting – take the opportunity to visit us. Make sure to check out the interactive map to find the nearest meetinghouses (our place of worship), schools, retirement communities, historic sites and graveyards. Contact information is provided in case you’d prefer to read more or talk with someone before visiting.

New information will be added regularly in the coming months. We welcome contributions such as stories and photos about current Quaker activities and historical information.
