South Jersey F/friends – Philadelphia Yearly Meeting (PYM) asks for your assistance!
The General Secretary Search Committee is in the process of identifying qualified candidates for the position of General Secretary. The General Secretary provides executive leadership, oversight of all staff operations, and support for integration of all PYM’s projects, services and activities.
The General Secretary is expected to contribute positively to the vitality and effectiveness of PYM as a whole and to represent PYM and Quakerism to the broader community.
PYM is one of the largest yearly meetings in the United States. A member of Friends General Conference, it represents monthly and quarterly meetings as well as individual Friends in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. This position is important for all of us.
