SouthJerseyQuakers (SJQ) – a collaboration of Burlington, Haddonfield, and Salem Quarters – started three years ago to raise the visibility of Quakers in South Jersey and to expand and strengthen our Friends’ community. The SJQ project now includes this monthly newsletter, a website with information for people interested in learning more about Quakerism and Friends’ activities in South Jersey, advertising on social media to inform the public about Friends’ presence as part of South Jersey life past and present, and the SouthJerseyQuakers’ YouTube channel with 40+ videos based on recent programs. In addition, we offer support, resources and training in the areas of social media, websites, other forms of publicity, and membership development.
