LNG Port Resolution
Monthly Meetings within the Three Quarters, and Philadelphia Yearly Meeting are asked by to consider adopting a resolution to oppose the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) project in Gibbstown, NJ. The resolution would need to be sent to Governor Murphy, the Biden Administration, and the Army Corps of Engineers. A resolution to disapprove this project also speaks to the Quaker Testimonies. Additional information regarding this project and a copy of the Trenton resolution can be found on the following links. Please consider sending your Monthly Meeting’s resolution as soon as possible because the project timeline is unclear.
