Young Adult Spring Retreat: Vocational Discernment

What questions about vocation am I being led to ask? Do I use my gifts wisely and generously? Do I share according to the Light I am given without going beyond my strength? Am I being well cared for in doing the work Spirit is calling me to do?
Calling all Young Adult Quakers and Seekers ages 18-35ish in the Philadelphia are and beyond. All are welcome to join us for our annual spring retreat the weekend of May 3rd-5th 2023 where we will gather at Haverford Friends Meeting centering the theme "vocational discernment." Special guest facilitators Jen Higgins-Newman and Greg Woods are bringing the Beacon Hill Friends House program to us:Living into your call: Vocational Discernment Workshop. Come to this retreat for Friendship, clearness, and witness of ourselves and each other in our spiritual journeys. This is an overnight event. We will be staying at the meetinghouse.

Saturday:

8:30am: Meeting for Worship
9am: Vocational Discernment workshop with Jen & Greg
1pm: Lunch outside
2-5pm: Fellowship, semi-structured activity offerings from the community
5pm: Meeting for Worship with Attention to Business
7pm: Dinner
8pm: Worship-sharing
Space in the evening for gathering, reflection, and fun!

Sunday morning:

Breakfast & clean-up in the meetinghouse
10am: Closing circle
10:30am: Meeting for worship with Haverford Friends Meeting
