Young Adult Friends Winter Retreat 2023

Calling all Young Adult Quakers and Seekers ages 18-35ish in the Philadelphia area and beyond. All are welcome to join us for our annual winter retreat on January 13th-15th 2023! The theme isLove Thy Neighbor. In connection to the 2023 PYM theme "living with our neighbors, growing into beloved community", the theme of this retreat is a continuation of the call for us to come together in the joyful work of reweaving our connections after two plus years of the pandemic.
The retreat will begin on Friday evening online at 8pm. Join us via Zoom for introductions, fellowship, and the premiere of the film Moana. On Saturday, we will gather in person at Arch Street Meeting in Philadelphia at 9:00am where the program will include: worship, workshops, games, and fellowship centered on the following queries: Who are our neighbors? What is required of us to participate in the beloved community? Where do we put this into practice?Saturday lunch will be provided. To help build a sense of community, we encourage everyone to attend the full retreat. We also realize that we all have other things going on in our lives, so please come part-time if that makes it more possible for you to attend. Attenders at the the in-person retreat must show COVID vaccination records and mask indoors at Arch Street Meeting House. Sign up below.
