Peace and Climate Justice in the West Pacific
An on-the-ground report with Friends Peace Teams activists from the Philippines and Indonesia
Kins Aparece from the Philippines will share her work on climate justice, disaster response and building community resilience. Petrus and Nanik from Indonesia will add perspective from their experience with environmental justice advocacy and building peace and climate justice into preschool and parenting education. Each will speak to how injustice and violence lead to climate change that threaten people and our common home. We will then share how this knowledge makes us feel, what it moves us to do, and how we can do it -- together."
