New Year’s Eve Livestream Concert

An online year's-end musical celebration!
New Year's Eve promises a rare treat: the duo-piano team of Hugh Sung and Madalina Danila performing a musical world tour of sparkling 4-hand piano music!
Hugh, a child prodigy and later graduate of the famed Curtis Institute of Music, has soloed with many leading orchestras including the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra. He has accompanied world-renowned virtuosos including violinists Hilary Hahn and Aaron Rosand. A self-described techie, Hugh is also a media personality and gourmet chef. Romanian-born pianist Madalina Danila is a graduate of the Bucharest Conservatory and currently a doctoral student at Temple University. She has won several prizes at national and international prizes including 1st Prize and Special Prize at the "George Enescu Competition" for best performance of a Romanian work.
Highlights of the evening's program include music by Mozart and Florence Price. The program, co-hosted by Pendle Hill's Director of Education Frances Kreimer and workshop leader Karl Middleman, promises sing-alongs and other memorable seasonal treats.
