On Jan. 20, 2022 the Senate passed a concurrent resolution (S.Con.Res. 28) sponsored by Sen. Murkowski calling for Sept. 30 to be observed as a national day of remembrance for the Native American children who died while attending a United States Indian boarding school. The day [serves] as an opportunity to recognize, honor, and support the survivors of Indian boarding schools, their families, and their communities.
On this day of Remembrance for U.S. Indian Boarding School children, the First Contact Reconciliation Collaborative extends invitation from Cynthia Mosley & Ragghi Rain, of the Committee on Native American Ministries and Native American International Caucus, to hear their talk hosted by the Greater NJ United Women in Faith. The Zoom link will be made available after a simply, free registration.
