The John Woolman Memorial Association Annual Lecture
Please join us for our Annual John Woolman Lecture "John Woolman, Israel Pemberton, Jr. and William Penn's 'Holy Experiment'" with our guest speaker James Proud. James is the author of "William Penn's Holy Experiment" Quaker Truth in Pennsylvania 1682-1781. A very scholarly and well researched book on Quakers in PA and NJ, with considerable narrative on John Woolman.
The lecture will be held on October 29th at 11a.m. at the Burlington Meeting House and Center for Conference at 340 High St. Burlington, NJ.
James Proud is a retired attorney and Priest of the Episcopal Church. He is also the editor of the book "John Woolman and the Affairs of Truth."
This event is free and open to the public so please feel free to bring a friend or family member.
There will be a Q and A afterwards with the author.
