On April 9th at 2:30 pm, Wendy Sanford of Cambridge Meeting and her friend Mary Norman will join us for a reading and discussion of their recently released book, These Walls Between Us: A Memoir of Friendship Across Race and Class. Of great interest to all of us interested in forming genuine and equitable friendships across the divides created by racial and class inequities, the memoir chronicles the more than 65-year long relationship between Wendy and Mary. It's a fascinating read, and will prompt us all to think more deeply about the ways in which our positions in social hierarchies affect our abilities to connect. Come and join us!
