Love My Neighbor is the program focus for children and youth at Fall Continuing Sessions!
We'll gather with young Friends at Arch Street Meeting House for a day of community, fellowship, worship and learning together. We'll explore What is a neighbor? How can I be a good neighbor? What would the world look like if we treated everyone as a neighbor?
Two program times for ages Pre-K through 12th grade will be led by Youth Programs staff:
Morning Program, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Afternoon Program, 1:30 - 3:30pm PM
Program times will include games, stories, conversation, personal reflection, and a scavenger hunt for "neighborliness." We'll finish the program day with the creation of an ideal neighborhood based on all that we discussed and witnessed throughout the day -- with either a large mural or a box town!
NOTE: Everyone participating in Youth Programs needs a Medical/Permission form for 2022-23 completed.
Child Care will be available for children under age 4.
BYO lunch -- parents/caregivers are responsible for children during the lunch hour.
Other parts of the day will be intergenerational, including the 3:30 PM worship opportunities.
We hope families will stay for the 5:00 Community Dinner and live music!
