Café Darkness Online: A Virtual Writing Workshop for People of Color

An online writing workshop for people of color with Joanne Daley, Danie "Ocean" Jackson, and K. Melchor Quick Hall
We are a community of writers of different genres and ages, committed to expanding the supportive space for people of color to write, read, and speak our stories - real imagined, poetic, and futuristic - into being. Join us online!
During this week of dedicated writing, we set specific writing intentions and work within community to compassionately move toward them. In this popular education-style workshop, we receive tips from others about how to outline a plot, write for an academic audience, or find a publisher for a memoir. Twice during the day, we will meet to share goals and read work.
The two synchronous sessions are timed to accommodate participants from across the United States in this flexible and supportive community space. Whether you are working around a work schedule or clearing your week, we welcome any writer open to sharing and learning with us as we support each other in our writing endeavors.
