Films from the Gardner Documentary Group
Janet Gardner, a member of Princeton Meeting, has produced and directed a host of socially responsible, humanitarian focused documentary films over several decades which have been of great interest to Friends here and abroad. Examples include: plight of child soldiers; malformed victims of agent orange; abandoned mixed race Vietnam War orphans; North Vietnamese subterranean tunnel communities; near extermination of Cambodian classical dancers by the Khmer Rouge and, of course, Quakers: The Quiet Revolutionaries. The Gardner Documentary Group has recently released a website which gives full description and access to the entire body of eight acclaimed documentaries. They’d welcome your response.
