Quakers for Peace in Palestine and Israel invites you to participate in an important upcoming workshop hosted by the Quaker Coalition for Uprooting Racism (QCUR).

This half-day workshop will include opportunities for worship, connection, and community, as well as a dynamic training on anti-racist power mapping—an interactive strategy tool for understanding where power is held around a specific issue and how it can be leveraged for meaningful change.

During the workshop, Friends will:

• Learn the principles and practice of power mapping
• Apply these tools to their own justice work in small groups
• Connect with other Friends working on similar issues or in the same region
• Explore how this tool can support racial justice and peace in complex struggles, including Palestine and Israel

On Saturday, May 10 from 1–5 PM ET, the Quaker Coalition for Uprooting Racism (QCUR) will host a free, virtual half-day workshop on anti-racist power mapping.

What’s power mapping?
It’s a strategic tool for identifying how power operates around a given issue and discovering where we can apply pressure or build influence to make change happen.

Whether you’re focused on peace and justice in Palestine and Israel, local racial justice work, or systemic change in your own Meeting or region, this training will offer tools to deepen your work and grow your capacity.
