Medford Friends Meeting
A Quaker Community in Medford, New Jersey
Medford Friends Meeting has received a few messages from people who were distressed by the Black Lives Matter sign in front of our meetinghouse. We placed that sign on our lawn as an expression of love for the many people who feel our society, our laws, and our institutions, have not valued them. We welcome the opportunity to have a conversation with anyone who would like to share their feelings about this in a spirit of love and respect. If you would like to meet with us, please contact us at 609-953-8914.
"Medford Friends Meeting joins with people of goodwill everywhere in affirming the way of love. We denounce the normalization of hate and violence in our society. We commit to working with others to build trust and understanding in our wider community." - Medford Monthly Meeting 2018

What's New

On January 8, 2022, Medford Meeting hosted a workshop on DEPOLARIZING CONVERSATIONS ABOUT RACE given by the national organization of Braver Angels. Launched in 2016, Braver Angels is a bipartisan citizen’s movement to unify our divided nation. By bringing Red and Blue Americans together into a working alliance, we’re building new ways to talk to one another, participate together in public life, and influence the direction of the nation.
